Shancer Announces Google Ads 2.0 for DNN Availability
Ads module leads the way in features!
DIGBY — May 18, 2004 — Today, Shancer Software released its 2.0 release of Google Ads for the DotNetNuke portal framework. With this release we have significantly reduced the amount of work needed to add Google AdSense™ word ads to a DotNetNuke site. Google ads are fast becoming one of the most prevalent ways for small web site owners to make a profit with their site. The approval process to become a publisher is very quick.
Once a customer becomes approved Google is very specific in its Terms Of Service agreement that the code placed on the page to generate the ads is not tampered with. This is where Shancers Google Ads comes in. We do not tamper with the code that is generated. The Ads module places within the DotNetNuke portal the same code that would be created by using Google’s own creation tool on their site.
Google Ads Features
There is full support for the 10 ad formats that is supported by the Google AdSense program, as well as providing the 24 colorful ad styles that are available. There is support for creating your own customized color selections through the use of the built in popup color chooser. Previewing of the current colors selection is included, as well as implementing the ability to display alternate ads. There is an online help section included with the module that uses the new help system integrated into the DotNetNuke 2.0 framework. This new release also has support for the new Image Ads that Google has started to beta test on their AdSense program.
